We Are Seeking a Workshop Manager Barranqueras, Chaco We are currently looking for a Workshop Manager to join our transportation and general cargo company. This position is intended for professionals with solid experience in maintaining heavy-duty transportation vehicles, possessing leadership and organizational capabilities. · Main Responsibilities Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for transportation vehicles. Plan tasks to ensure operational availability of the fleet. Monitor spare parts inventory, place orders, and compare quotations. Manage tires (classification, reuse, retreading, or disposal). Coordinate tire transfers with suppliers (tire shops). Perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs. Carry out basic welding tasks. Monitor invoicing related to departmental purchases. Prepare work orders and manage their entry into the system. Coordinate services with external workshops. · Additional Tasks Provide roadside assistance in case of vehicle breakdowns or accidents. Monitor vehicle degassing procedures. Conduct general inspections according to Environmental, Safety, and Health (MASS) standards. Perform general workshop and facility maintenance. Monitor and ensure compliance with physical safety checklists. · Requirements Education: Engineering degree or studies related to automotive mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, or welding. Proven experience in similar positions (mandatory in heavy-duty transportation). Availability: Full-time. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
