




Job Summary: We are seeking a die-cutting machine operator for a graphic arts and packaging company, responsible for operating and maintaining die-cutting machinery while ensuring quality and production targets. Reports to Production Manager We are currently looking for a á to join the production team of a graphic arts and packaging company located in the Southern Zone of Greater Buenos Aires. The position reports to the Production Manager and aims to operate and maintain flat die-cutting machinery, guaranteeing plant quality standards and production targets. Work mode: on-site with rotating shifts. · Main Responsibilities Mount, level, and adjust dies, regulating machine pressure and registration according to the approved sample for each job. Operate the flat die-cutting machine, feeding the process and continuously monitoring execution to detect deviations in cutting, creasing, or embossing. Conduct periodic sampling to verify that parts meet technical specifications and quality standards. Perform daily control, cleaning, and lubrication tasks on the machine in accordance with the current maintenance plan. Interpret technical drawings and work orders, applying knowledge of material grammages and finishes. Use measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, probe) for dimensional control of produced parts. Promptly report operational issues, quality deviations, or technical failures to the Area Supervisor. Meet production, quality, and applicable industrial safety standards. Required Profile Completed secondary education (mandatory). Professional training in Graphic Arts, Mechanics, or related fields (desirable). Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating flat die-cutting machines in the graphic arts or packaging industry (mandatory). Proven experience with Bobst, Eterna, MK, or similar machinery (mandatory). Proficiency in using measuring tools: caliper, micrometer, and probe. Knowledge of grammages, packaging materials, and interpretation of technical drawings. Experience in production environments with rotating shifts (desirable). Familiarity with quality management systems (desirable). · Competencies Extreme attention to detail and manual dexterity.
