Assembly Blacksmith – Permanent Job Description: A leading company in the Power Generation Groups sector is seeking a specialized Assembly Blacksmith to join its team in the industrial engine maintenance and assembly area. Responsibilities: Interpret mechanical and structural blueprints for fabrication and assembly of parts and structures. Perform cutting, welding, and fitting on metal structures. Assemble and align supports, bases, and structures for industrial engines. Carry out measurements and inspections to ensure correct assembly. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians on installation and maintenance tasks. Comply with industrial safety and hygiene standards. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a blacksmith in industrial environments. Solid knowledge of electric welding, MIG/MAG welding, and oxy-fuel cutting. Experience in assembling and aligning large-scale engines or equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural blueprints. Proficiency in using hand tools and workshop power tools. Willingness to work at heights and undertake occasional travel. Desirable: Basic machining knowledge. Experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
