Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA to ensure optimal installation, configuration, and administration of SQL Server and database clusters, maintaining an efficient and secure data environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure optimal SQL Server performance and availability 2. Manage Data Warehouse (DWH) servers and SSIS 3. Guarantee the installation, configuration, and administration of SQL Server and database clusters, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Perform backups and restores in controlled environments, and troubleshoot database issues. Administer Data Warehouse (DWH) servers and SSIS, including ispac deployments, to maintain an efficient and secure data environment. **Your responsibilities:** Install and configure database clusters, including data size estimation following best practices across various SQL Server products (DWH, SSIS, SSRS). Monitor database servers using company-provided tools. Export data to various formats and perform backups and restores to protect the system in case of failure. Tune instances across different SQL Server versions. Maintain data pipelines and troubleshoot database-related issues. You are the right fit if you have over 5 years of experience in database administration and migration; hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics, or related fields; possess the Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate certification; have experience with DWH, clustering, and VMware; understand SQL architecture, processes, and tuning. Additionally, if you have experience monitoring and troubleshooting MS SQL databases and optimizing queries and database instance performance; possess knowledge of Windows and PowerShell; and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires working Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, in a hybrid mode (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). What do we offer?
