**Job Details** ------------------------- Position DescriptionAs Senior Director Accounting and Controlling EMEA, you are responsible for leading, strategically aligning, and further developing the Accounting function of Dentsply Sirona in the EMEA region.ResponsibilitiesLead the regional Accounting team in EMEA, build a high\-performance environment with a focus on quality, and implement the global strategic vision for the Accounting functionOversee the monthly and quarterly closing processes for EMEA entities according to US\-GAAP and internal guidelines; promote a culture of continuous improvementEnsure quarterly financial reporting meets global requirements and support preparation of consolidated financial reports for SEC filingTimely preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local accounting regulationsSupport execution of internal and external audits within agreed timelinesMonitor and follow up on control weaknesses and audit findings; ensure an effective and sustainable internal control systemCollaborate with the global Accounting team, EMEA Commercial and GBU leaders, and other business partners to provide accounting and reporting expertiseLead and support initiatives within Business Transformation, particularly the global ERP implementation and further development of the GBS modelPromote talent development within the team to strengthen the internal pipeline for the Finance organization; targeted, needs\-based resource allocationLead, participate in, or support special projects as requiredYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent) actively maintainedAt least 14 years of professional experience in a similar roleSolid background with one of the Big Four and experience auditing or working within a large, publicly traded multinational companyExperience in global, multinational organizationsHands\-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP systemsManufacturing experience, ideally in the medical device industryStrong commitment to ethical and compliant conductStrong financial and business acumen; deep knowledge of US\-GAAP and local accounting standardsProven experience leading decentralized teams; ability to coach and develop professionalsResults\-oriented mindset with strong focus on continuous improvement and transformationAbility to build relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels – internal and externalExcellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentationHigh attention to quality with ability to analyze details as well as create executive summariesStrong problem\-solving skills, proactive and pragmatic approach, excellent execution capabilityProficient in using technology and analytics to improve processes and advance the Accounting functionAbility to navigate confidently in a complex and dynamic environment with shifting prioritiesStrong team orientation and ability to integrate culturally within Dentsply SironaApproximately 20% travelJob ProfileSeniority levelDirectorEmployee statusFull\-timeWork scheduleFull\-timeProfessionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesMedical Devices \#J\-18808\-Ljbffr **Base Salary****:** Negotiable **Source****:** Whatjobs\_Ppc
