This may include creating application programming interfaces (APIs), custom software applications, or integrating third-party solutions to meet specific project requirements. Must be able to implement and configure standard communication protocols, such as ONVIF, to facilitate interoperability between video surveillance devices from different manufacturers. This involves understanding how these protocols work and how to adapt them to system needs. The software developer must be able to configure and customize video management systems (VMS) and video recording systems (NVR and DVR) to meet specific project requirements. This may include configuring motion detection rules, alarm settings, user and permission configurations, and user interface customization. Additionally, must be responsible for developing custom algorithms to perform tasks such as facial recognition, object detection, behavior analysis, etc. Must conduct thorough testing of developed software to ensure its functionality, performance, and security. This involves identifying and fixing bugs, and ensuring the software meets project requirements and client specifications. It is important that the software developer properly document the code and development process to facilitate long-term maintainability and technical support. In addition, they may provide technical support to other team members during system implementation and commissioning.
