**Job Title:** Head of Integrations and Application Development **Department / Management:** Business Technology Management / Corporate Services **Reports To:** Business Technology Manager **Direct Reports:** 6 Developers 1 Technical Functional Analyst 1 Integration Analyst 1 UX/UI Analyst **POSITION OBJECTIVE / GENERAL PURPOSE** Lead the execution of the Group’s software development strategy, ensuring delivery of products meeting Quality and Security standards and agreed timelines. Aligned with the vision, purpose, and culture defined by management, leadership, and the organization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** Lead the assigned team, promoting staff development and training to ensure quality and delivery of software solutions. Collaborate with the Business Technology Manager in defining the company’s technology strategy and software development roadmap. Define, manage, and oversee the software development lifecycle with a continuous improvement focus. Coordinate with other Business Technology (TdN) areas on internal priorities and infrastructure for internal software developments to meet business needs. Define and monitor secure development best practices aligned with the organization’s cybersecurity policies. Ensure proper operation of all applications currently in use across the organization. Monitor KPI performance trends and propose corrective actions in case of deviations. Stay informed about emerging technology and software development trends to assess and adopt new technologies that enhance development efficiency and quality. Manage change and ensure the development team is prepared to adapt to new technologies and approaches. **MAIN TASKS** Hold daily follow-up meetings with team members to assign tasks and monitor progress. Supervise each stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with development standards and proper documentation. Hold weekly meetings with other Business Technology (TdN) departments to define priorities. Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies where relevant to improve software development efficiency and quality. Manage third-party software development vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency. Manage timely and effective corrective and preventive application maintenance. Ensure stable and scalable operations while promoting reuse of routines, libraries, etc. Provide continuous, proactive technical support to each team member to ensure individual success in projects. **POSITION COMPETENCIES** **Academic Background** **Secondary Education** **Tertiary Education** **University / Postgraduate Degree** **X** **Field of Study:** Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related disciplines **Languages / Proficiency Level (*****Basic / Intermediate / Advanced*****):** Advanced English **IT Skills:** Office 365, Programming languages and databases. E.g.: Java, C#, SQL **Required Experience (Duration):** Minimum 5 years in similar positions **Required Role Competencies** **Technical Competencies:** In-depth knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices. Solid software development expertise, including frontend, backend, and databases. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), and backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET). Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
