We are seeking a Python Lead Engineer to lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of scalable solutions supporting real-time analytics and batch processing. This position will play a strategic role within the team, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams, and leading the development of data-oriented backend infrastructure—directly impacting product performance and business decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring Semi-Senior profiles, promoting best development practices, and actively contributing to the team’s data culture. As a Python Lead Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing scalable Python backend APIs. Leading end-to-end technical initiatives—from design through production deployment. Developing full-stack projects from start to finish. Building internal tools to optimize processes and support streaming services. Designing and maintaining data processing pipelines and solutions (batch and real-time). Collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams. Actively participating in agile ceremonies (Scrum), technical meetings, and team coordination. Ensuring quality standards, performance, and best practices. Mentoring and supporting the technical growth of Data Engineers and Developers on the team. When and where will you work? You will work fully remotely Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, from anywhere in the country. Who will you work with? First, you will have an interview with our Recruiters, Aldana Alvarenga, where we’ll discuss your professional experience and interests. Next, you’ll proceed to an initial session with the employer’s Human Resources team. Subsequently, up to four additional interviews are scheduled with the assigned client: the first with the team lead, the second and third with different managers, and finally, a last meeting focused on gaining deeper insight into the team and the project.
